The bright bold beautiful colors and general sexy vibe paired with my rock n' roll sensibilities have been a great combination for the clothing I design. McLaineO clothing is fun colorful sexy clothing that makes you feel feminine and girly and smile at the same time. I use top quality fabrics and construction techniques. Fit is of upmost importance. Many of the fabrics I use are hand silkscreened. I started doing this because she found it impossible to find what I was looking for in the fabric stores. I love the 40's - 50's styles and there is very little current, affordable fashion that is "vintage style". I have a hard time finding "new fashion" that I like, so, I decided to make my own handmade vintage fashions from vintage patterns, vintage fabrics as well as some of my own designs and share them with you...via MailOrderPinup (my brand name). I basically take the classic 50's style and give it a twist of girly...but not too girly. Most of my designs can be made with any fabric ( I have a room full of vintage fabrics) or if someone is looking for something specific (like a print that I don't have), I will go scout out local fabric stores and take photo swatches of fabrics that might work. I really enjoy finding something and working with people that is just perfect for my customer. Ticci's first collection was put on the market at the end of 2004. Stefánia Ágoston, fashion designer, is a committed upholder of Rock & Roll. She designs her clothes to be adequate to the American culture of the 50's, and also to the decade's designers, musicians and actors. Amy, and my husband, Tyler and I are the owners and creators of Liquid Courage. We have been selling online since 2003. Recently, we decided to make the leap from selling items made by others to selling items that we make. We have been goofing around making all sorts of arts, crafts, scrapbooks, and clothing for many years and decided to combine my hobby with my online business experience. Tyler has an Accounting degree from Tennessee Technological University, and I have a bachelor's degree in Marketing and an MBA in Accounting from TTU as well. Upon graduating, we tried "real, grown-up jobs" - Tyler as a general manager at a greenhouse manufacturing company, and I as a staff accountant for a nationwide manufacturing company. We spent a couple of years working for "the man"...at a desk eight hours a day...fifty weeks a year. We finally decided to follow our dream of becoming entrepreneurs, pursue our passion, and determine our own future with hands on approach.
